Two cousins were killed while their other cousin was wounded when they were allegedly fired at by two gunmen while they were drinking liquor in their neighborhood in Quezon City Saturday night as police attributed the violence to a dispute between rival gangs.
Investigator PO3 Joselito Gagaza identified two of the slain victims as Lee Marvin Galang Mediana, 27, and Ralph Payumo Mediana, 21, both residents of Maj. Marcos St. in Area-2 Veterans Village, Pasong Tamo, Quezon City.
Marvin, who sustained two gunshot wounds in the chin and another two in the neck, was declared dead on arrival when he was rushed to the Malvar Hospital. Ralph, who suffered gunshot wounds in the abdomen, head, and left knee, died during treatment at 11:20 p.m. at the same hospital.
The two men’s cousin, Mark Lloyd Medina, 18, also a resident in Maj. Marcos St., was hurt in the shooting. Mark was treated at the East Avenue Medical Center (EAMC) for a gunshot wound in the left leg.
