THE lifeless body of a man in his 30s was found with a gunshot wound in the head in sitio Magay, barangay Tanke, Talisay City.

No one in the barangay was able to identify him, indicating that the victim was a stranger in the place, said PO2 Edwin Alvarado of the Talisay City police.

In barangay Candulawan, Teresita Sanchez was found dead in her rented room.

Police said the woman, aged between 70 and 80 years old, may have suffered a heart attack.

The elderly woman had been taking medicine for high blood pressure.
