Killed were Harenio Limbago, 43, and Jonathan Carpanio, 32, both married of Ramon Magsaysay. Wounded was a certain Junrey.

A police report disclosed that the shooting took place about 6:40 p.m. along the highway while the victims were on their way home.

The report said that Limbago and Carpanio were aboard a motorcycle when they were ambushed by gunmen who positioned themselves on roadside.

The gunmen used .45 caliber pistol and M14 riffle as evidenced by the spent shells recovered at the crime scene. Junrey was hit in the leg by a stray bullet.

Carpanio succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds and died on the spot while Junrey was rushed to a nearby clinic for treatment.

Investigators looked at personal dispute as the motive of the shooting.
