Police said the body of Baser Gustaham, 30, was found in Landang Gua around 4 p.m. It bore seven gunshot wounds.

Police said that Gustaham was killed few minutes after his body was discovered as investigators recovered three spent shells of 9mm pistol near the corpse.

Investigators were still gathering information on the identity of the killer.

Around 5 p.m. residents of Barangay Panubigan discovered near the shore another body, apparently and victim of “salvage” (summary execution)

The victim was hogtied with his mouth gagged with towel. He was medium built with fair complexion.

The body bore multiple hack wounds.
