A police report identified the fatalities as Ben Abaredo, single, of Mampang and Richi Cagan of Putik. Wounded was Roberto Dacoy.

Abaredo was on his way home around 8 p.m., coming from work when an unidentified man appeared from behind and shot him seven times. He sustained seven bullet wounds in the body and died on the spot.

Police said the incident was connected with the killing of Dudung Delos Reyes, a kagawad of Mampang who was shot dead in broad daylight the other week.

But investigators were still digging deeper to determine the identities of the killers.

Cagan and Dacoy were shot by a gunman in Putik around 10 p.m.

A police report disclosed that Cagan and the gunman had figured in heated argument.

Amid their argument, the gunman pulled out a handgun and shot Cagan.

It was learned that before the gunman left, he shot Dacoy who was near the place of where Cagan was shot.
