MANILA, Philippines – Two suspected members of the Akyat Bahay Gang were killed in a police encounter in New Manila, Quezon City late Tuesday evening.

Police said the suspects were spotted loading stolen items in a tricycle along 4th Street at around 11 p.m.

The suspects fired shots at the approaching policemen but were eventually killed in the shootout.
