A man was killed while another was wounded after a passerby stabbed them on suspicion that they made him a laughing stock Thursday night in Malabon City.

Victim Francis Silab, 21, of Letre Road, Bgy. Tonsuya was declared dead on arrival at the Pagamutang Bayan ng Malabon due to a stab wound in the chest.

His neighbor Jestoni Blase, 25, a security guard, sustained a stab wound in the abdomen and was taken to the Tondo Medical Center for treatment.

Responding barangay watchmen arrested Jun Jun Amistoso, 23, of Marilao, Bulacan and turned  him over to the police.

A report by SPO1 Joel dela Torre  said the victims were chatting at the corner of Gozon Compound in Bgy. Tonsuya at 10:20 p.m. when the suspect passed by.

“Akala n’ya siya ang pinagtatawanan kaya bumalik ito at pagbunot ng patalim ay sinaksak muna si Blase, umawat si Silab kaya ito naman ang binalingan ng suspek,” Dela Torre said.
