A MAN who had just attended a disco was killed while a hospital worker was wounded in separate shooting incidents at dawn yesterday in Argao town, southern Cebu.

Mario Albarina, 54, was about to leave a disco in barangay Alambuod when he was shot in the head by an unidentified assailant.

Police said no one was able to see the gunman.

The victim was rushed to the Isidro Ciriaco Kintanar Memorial Hospital (ICKMH)where attending physicians declared him dead.

Police said personal grudges could be the motive in the killing.

In barangay Tulic, Ronald Gillera, an employee of ICKMH, was shot and wounded by three unidentified men.

Gillera was drinking with friends when three men on board a motorcycle shot at him.

Gillera suffered several gunshot wounds in the body. 

The victim was rushed to ICKMH.

The shooting is still under investigation.
