TWO former inmates who have been at odds while serving jailtime continued fighting once they were out of jail until one of them finished off the other in Tondo, Manila the other day.

Victim Vicente Dominguez, 30, a pedicab driver and said to be a member of the Sigue-Sigue Commando Gang, of 1683 Mata St., Tondo, died instantly due to several stabwounds in the chest.

The suspect, identified as Honard Gregorio, alias ‘Toto’, 22, of 376 Mata St., also in Tondo, fled after the incident and is now being hunted down by the police.

SPO2 Ronald Gallo of the Manila Police District-Homicide Section said the incident took place at around 2 p.m. at the corner of Daisy and  San Sebastian Streets in Tondo.

Investigation showed that Dominguez and Gregorio have been at odds during incarceration.

The two got out of jail one after the other and when their paths crossed again the other day, they hurled invectives at each other and even engaged in fisticuffs.

Concerned residents broke off the fight and when Dominguez went home,  Gregorio followed him, waited for the victim to rest and then attacked him with a knife, stabbing him repeatedly before fleeing on foot.
