A FACTORY worker died while his three-year-old nephew miraculously survived after two unidentified gunmen opened fire at them Wednesday night, in Valenzuela City.

Bernardo Furio, 32, of 1433 Santol St., Bisalao, Bgy. Bagbaguin, was declared dead on-arrival at the Valen-zuela City Medical Center due to multiple gunshot wounds.

Case officers PO3 Alexander Manalo and PO2 Felix Viernes said Furio and his nephew were sitting at the terrace of their house around 10 p.m. when the suspects shot them at close range.

“Buti at hindi nadamay yung bata kasi close range yung pagbaril sa victim,” the probers said.

City police chief Sr. Supt. Erick Serafin Reyes ordered a thorough investigation of  the incident.
