BALER, Aurora — A tricycle driver was  stabbed dead while a 77-year-old woman  was killed after she was hit by a motorcycle in separate incidents here the other day.

Niño Lapira, 21, of Bgy. Bangka, Maria Aurora, was on his way home, with his friends when an unidentified man suddenly attacked the victim for no apparent reason in Purok 2, Bgy. Sabang.

“May kaalitan daw ang biktima sa isang beerhouse noong gabing iyon, marahil inabangan siya ng suspek,” police said.

In Bgy. Ditailen, Maria Aurora, Revelina Cuaresma, 77, was killed when she was hit by a motorcycle driven by Domingo Magday, 60.

Cuaresma was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Magday surrendered to the police after the incident. He was charged with reckless imprudence resulting in homicide.       Mamer Bañez
