A 16-YEAR-OLD boy was killed while his two friends were wounded after they were stabbed by two teenagers in Angono, Rizal Sunday night. 

Angono police chief Supt. Ruel Vacaro identified the fatality as Jellyson Escauso. 

Injured were Elmar Mangaya and Manuel Donnel Ocampo, both of Sitio Pinagpala, Barangay Kalayaan, Angono. 

They were listed in critical condition at the Angono General Hospital.

Suspects Jomar Salonga and Carl Kevin Mortero, both 16 and residents of Del Lumen Compound Barangay Pantok, Binangonan, Rizal were arrested.          

Witnesses said the three victims were chatting in front of a store when the suspects passed by. For unknown reason, Mangaya hit Mortero at the back of his head, triggering a fight between the two groups. 

At the height of the fight, the two suspects pulled out knives and stabbed the victims.

Homicide and two counts of frustrated homicide will be filed against the suspects who were detained at the Angono municipal jail.
