Burglars broke into the convent inside the compound of St. Francis Assissi Parish Church in barangay Sta. Cruz, Balamban town, and fled with the priest’s money worth at least P30,500.
Fr. Christian delos Santos said that he discovered the burglary past 9 p.m. last Sunday when he got home from Toledo City.
SPO1 Jose Ranielito Villarino, police investigator of Balamban said that the burglars entered through the comfort room’s window and stole the money from the priest’s bedroom.
