MANILA, Philippines—A 58-year-old woman was stabbed several times by her nephew during an altercation about inheritance matters a little past midnight Friday, a radio report said.

The police identified the victim as Emilia Mandi of Barangay (village) Malamig in Mandaluyong City, and the suspect, Ferdinand Barbo.

Police said they will file the appropriate charges against Barbo, who has admitted to stabbing his aunt.
