A 29-year-old driver was gunned down by two unidentified motorcycle-riding suspects near the covered court in Bgy. 2, Lipa City yesterday morning.

Batangas police director Senior Supt. Omega Jireh Deocares Fidel identified the fatality as Arnold Remo Recinto Jr., married, of Bgy. Palanca, San Jose, Batangas.

PO2s June Olave Gonzales Arnold de Luna and Luis Quizon de Luna Jr. said the victim was about to tie a ridge foil in his truck (TRY 339) when the two suspects  onboard a motorcycle arrived and without any provocation the backrider  who was wearing faded maong jacket and helmet shot Recinto several times causing his instantaneous death and immediately fled.

Authorities claimed that the victim sustained gunshot wounds in different parts of his body.

Police said the victim had allegedly an existing warrant of arrest for the crime of murder in San Jose town when he killed a guardian member.
