The president of a homeowners’ association was shot dead by motorcycle-riding gunmen in Quezon City Thursday afternoon.

PO2 Alvin Quisumbing of the QC Police District Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit identified the victim as Delfina Macapagal, 56, president of Kamagong-Kasoy Homeowners Association and resident of Kamagong St., Bgy. Commonwealth.

Quisumbing said the victim was rushed to the Fairview General Hospital but died upon arrival due to two gunshot wounds in the head.

Two residents told police they heard gun shots from the victim’s house. While the two residents were on their way to Macapagal’s house, they were met by one of the armed suspects who allegedly shouted: “Yuko, yuko! Puputukan ko kayo, pulis ako!” 

Then the two saw the two gunmen board a motorcycle and speed away, leaving behind the wounded Macapagal. Police recovered one caliber .45 slug and one shell from the victim’s house.
