Others believe that the Lenten Season is the perfect time to forgive those who have wronged or hurt us.

But “Salud”, not her real name, believed otherwise. Salud said what her husband, Wilfredo Buhol, 31, of Bgy. 75, Zone 7, Caloocan City, did to their 13-year-old daughter can not be forgiven.

Buhol allegedly made their daughter his sex toy. The abuse allegedly started in June of last year. The last incident allegedly occured last Monday afternoon inside the house of the victim’s grandmother.

“Kate,” real name withheld, was accompanied by her mother to the office of the Women’s and Children’s Desk of the Caloocan City Police to press formal charges against her father.

The victim told SPO1 Mary Kaye Daquiuag that her father threatened to hurt her and her mother had she reported the matter to the police.

She said the suspect followed her to her grandmother’s house last Monday at 2:30 p.m. and forced himseld to her.

Kate added she tried to fight back but the suspect threatened to kill her.

“Nung umuwi po ako, isinumbong ko na po sya sa nanay ko. Demonyo po siya, hindi ko po siya mapapatawad. Sinira niya po ang kinabukasan ko,” Kate said.

Buhol will be charged with rape in relation to violation of RA 7610 or the Child Abuse Law.
