A FORMER reporter of Bombo Radyo was shot dead by suspected hired killers the other day in Dagupan City, Pangasinan.

The victim, identified as Melanio Balolong, 62, died from seven gunshot wounds in different parts of his body.

Reports said the victim’s body was found at around 9 a.m. in a fish pen he owned.

It was learned that the victim was shot by the suspect while inspecting his fish pen in Sitio Calamiong, Bgy. Bonuan, Gueset, Dagupan City. The suspect fled.

Authorities are conducting follow-up investigation to determine the motive behind the former radio reporter’s killing.
