AN 18-year-old electrician was killed by an angry neighbor who stabbed him several times following a heated argument the other night in Tondo, Manila.

Victim Bon Irec Purificacion of Sitio Damayan in Balut, Tondo, Manila, died instantly due to several stab wounds in different parts of the body while the suspect, identified as Ruzzel Francisco, 23, is still being hunted by the police as he fled after the incident and is now in hiding.  

In his report to Manila Police District-Homicide Section head Chief Insp. Ismael dela Cruz, prober PO3  Mario Asilo said the incident took place at 9:45 p.m. in Sitio Da-mayan.

Prior to the stabbing, the victim and the suspect were reportedly engaging in a heated verbal exchange which led to fisticuffs.

Moments later, the suspect drew a knife and stabbed the victim repeatedly until the latter fell bloodied.

The cause of the argument that triggered the stabbing is still being investigated by the police.
