A man was killed by his own wife in Dipolog City on Monday.

Suspect Mercedes Lumines suddenly engaged in a heated argument with her husband Aurelio while they were having a drinking session in their house in Barangay Olingan.

Mercedes, out of frustration, hit her husband with a bamboo stick. She then abandoned her husband, thinking the latter just lost consciousness.

A neighbor later discovered that Aurelio was already dead
