POLICE are investigating the death of a suspected drug pusher who was gunned down in Pasig City yesterday morning.

Station Investigation and Detection Managament Branch chief Senior Insp. Rodrigo de Dios identified the victim as Noel Sumulong Biduya, 28, of Soriano St., Bgy. Sto. Tomas.

PO3 Rusthom Valdez said the shooting incident took place around 9:40 a.m. at Villa Monique Phase 1, San Agustin St., Bolante 2, in Bgy. Pinagbuhatan.

The  victim was in front of a sari-sari store when the suspect approached, shot  the victim several times, then casually walked away.

“Sabi nu’ng witnesses ’yung biktima raw dating involved sa illegal drugs, so ’yun ang angulo na tinitignan ng mga pulis.” De Dios said.

Police recovered at the scene five empty shells of a .45 caliber revolver.
