A TICKET agent and a Chinese national were latest victims of robbery-holdup incidents in Davao City.
The victims were robbed of their cash and other valuables in separate incidents on Friday.
The first incident happened around 11 a.m. at Gardian Angel Travel and Tours on Artiaga st.
The victim was identified as Honey Bee Turtal Caranguit, 20, a ticket agent of the aforementioned travel agency and a resident of Buhisan, Tibungco.
Based on the initial investigation conducted by Sta. Ana police, an unidentified suspect entered the victim’s office wearing a helmet and holding a firearm of undetermined caliber. The suspect then declared a holdup prompting the victim to hand his collection amounting to P1,800.
The suspect then fled towards Rizal Ext. aboard a motorcycle.
Sta. Ana police is now conducting a follow up investigation to arrest the robbers.
The other incident transpired along Bangoy St., Agdao at around 5 p.m.
The victim was identified as one Vic Yang, 21, a Chinese national and a transient resident of Samco Bldg., corner Rosemarie St. and Bangoy St., Agdao.
Senior Police Office 1 Restie Tan and PO3 Roldan Paradiang of Sta. Ana police, in their report, said while the victim was walking in the area, three men approached him and declared holdup after pointing a bladed weapon on the victim.
The victim was forced to give up his LG P970 mobile phone worth P14,000 and his wallet containing P4,500 and IDs. The robbers then fled to an alley near the place of incident.
Sta. Ana police identified the suspects as one Ronel Mamoca Lopez alias “Tata Ila,” one Witi Rozada and one Danilo Montenegro alias “Dodong Luz.”
Sta. Ana police is now conducting pursuit operation for the arrest of the suspects.
