Another member of a tricycle association in Quezon City was shot and killed at around 8 p.m. on Saturday, according to the police. An investigation showed the victim was shot at close range by two men at Tangke Itaas, Luzon Avenue in Barangay Holy Spirit. PO3 Joselito Gagaza, of the Quezon City Police District homicide section identified the victim as Franco Raguindin, 30, a member of the Luzon Avenue Tricycle Drivers and Operators Association (Luzon TODA) and a resident of Barangay Pasong Tamo, Quezon City . The policeman said Raguindin sustained two gunshot wounds in the head. Based on the empty shells taken from the crime scene, the gun used by the killer was a 9 mm pistol. Witnesses told the police that two men riding in a tricycle had alighted near a basketball court in the area. One of them then pulled out a gun and without any warning, shot the victim twice in the head. They escaped afterward, fleeing toward Fort Del Pilar Street, the witnesses said. The police said Raguindin was the second member of the association to be killed this year.
