PROGUN and UAA Support FAMAP in proposed Firearms Bill
Today the PROGUN and United Airsoft Alliance (UAA) Officers met with Ms. Gina Angangco, Vice-President of Armscor to discuss the legislative initiative for the Firearms Bill to be filed with Congress. A preliminary draft will be prepared based upon the compilation of previous Firearms Bills that were filed with Congress in the past. PROGUN and UAA will assist in the technical working on the draft which shall be updated, and shall oversee the inclusion of the airsoft provisions of the bill. The preliminary draft shall be posted on the internet and presented to other interest groups in the community such as AFAD, A2S2, and PPSA for their comments and suggestions.
This initiative is being pushed under the leadership of Ms. Gina Angangco of the Firearms Manufacturers Association of the Philippines (FAMAP) who will spearhead the project.
